Jane Smith has hypertension and needs a prescription for Vasotec. She will take 5 mg, twice a day. It comes in 5 mg tablets. She will need a three month supply.

Case 5

A 1.5-year-old boy Aris Micher (10 kg) developed acute otitis media from attending the nursing care. He requires a prescription for an initial antibiotic treatment at the lowest dose and strength as www.thaipediatrics.org

Case 6

A 2.5 years old girl Pamee Monicia (12 kg) is hospitalized due to the community-acquired pneumonia. Please prescribe ampicillin at the lowest recommended dose by www.thaipediatrics.org

Case 7

Dextre Isatsuku (7 years old, 30 kg) got acute bacterial pharyngitis. He reported mild maculopapular rashes after penicillin use previously. Please prescribe antibiotic pills as www.thaipediatrics.org

Case 8

A 7 years old girl Seezie Zhang (30 kg) had partial-onset seizure. Need the lowest-dose antiepileptic pills (60 mg/tab) without risks of ataxia or severe drug rashes for the first 2 weeks as www.thaipediatrics.org
